What to See Along the Way

1. Devikulam

A peaceful hill station at walking distance of Munnar, Devikulam is famous for velvet-smooth tea estate and grasslands. Goddess Sita is believed to have taken a bath at the neighboring Sita Devi Lake and sanctity is hence imputed to the location. It's a peaceful location where one may sit somewhere and click some photos and experience the mountain breeze.

2. Anayirankal Dam

Best to visit Munnar to Thekkady during the post monsoon season this time of September to March when hills surrounding are green in color, waterfalls are emerald green and the climate is pleasant.
