Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin
Let your honeymoon begin with a glamorous tour through the Queen of Arabian Sea. Moving through the different sculptural beauty of Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace St.Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Marine drive aids to enjoy a variety of terrains of beauty. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar
Welcome to God’s own country. Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, our agent’s representative will pick you up for a drive through the scenic network of roads leading to Munnar – the first stop of your Kerala honeymoon itinerary. This hill station in Kerala is marked by vast expanses of lush green tea plantations, rivulets, colonial bungalows, gushing waterfalls and a pleasant weather. En route, you visit spice plantations & Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel and relax for a little while. The remaining part of the day is at your leisure, to spend as you like. End your day with a romantic dinner and a sound sleep at the hotel.
Day 3: Munnar
Today after breakfast, go for sightseeing at Photopoint, Eravikulam Nationalpark, Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Pothamedu view point Blossom Park , beautiful spots for viewing the picturesque and a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with. Later drive back to your resort for the overnight stay.
Day 4: Sightseeing tour of Munnar
After a filling breakfast, get ready to leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Pothamedu, the sweeping Mattupetty and Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum along with adoring a boating stint in the lake. You can also reconnoitre the local markets of Munnar for a little souvenir chasing. Later, return to the hotel for a lovely dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady which is also known as Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Check in to the hotel, fresh up and then set out to visit spice plantations, elephant ride and Kathakali show. You can also opt for boating at Periyar Lake. After cruising, head back to hotel and end the day with an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 – Thekkady – Kumarakom
Check out from the Hotel and proceed to Kumarakom, the place of divine peace and natural bliss. Check in to the Hotel at Kumarakom, visiting Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary on the way there. Overnight stay at Hotel/Resort and thus marks the end of the day.
Day 7 – Kumarakom- Alleppey
Check in to Deluxe houseboat for an overnight cruise through the unique back waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Glide along the narrow canals laced by the infinite greenery imparted by coconut palms; watch the gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and the village folk at work. Relax on board listening to the rhythm divine.
Day 8: Alleppey to Kovalam
After having your breakfast, check out the houseboat and drive to your beach resort at Kovalam. Kovalam is the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water that is perfect for swimming and other water sports. After lunch visit the lighthouse and then enjoy the beaches of Shangumukham beach, vizhinjam etc till the sun disappears in to in the Arabian Sea. End the day with an overnight stay.
Day 9: Kovalam to Kanyakumari
Check out your Kovalam resort and drive towards Kanyakumari, the southern tip of Indian Sub-continent and an important destination for pilgrim as well as leisure travelers. Check in to the hotel and later visit the famous Vivekananda rock and the statue of Thiruvalluvar, which is situated in the sea on the rock, suchithram Temple, Gandhi mandap etc. Enjoy an ever memorable sunset from there as it’s the point where Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal are joining together. Later return to your hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 10: Kovalam- Trivandrum drop off
Till noon, have leisure in your hotel and later check out for your return drop off at Trivandrum Airport/ railway station.
